Great mat for yoga. Not slippy. Soft and lovely colour and design. Recommended
This is a very nice yoga mat. I'm mostly comparing it with my old yoga mat which was thinner (I think it was 3mm thick). So, having a mat that's 6mm thick feels very soft. It's easy on the hand and knees and has a nice, vibrant color. I like that there's plenty of grip in the mat for regular yoga (I haven't tried it for hot yoga yet). For your average yoga/pilates it will be excellent. It's also nice that it comes with a carry strap so you can roll it up and put it away easily. Overall I'd recommend it.
I really like this yoga mat from Yoga Design Lab.It is generously thick, which offers wonderful cushion and support. This yoga mat feels great to use. Although it is thick, it is very light and easy to roll up and carry - the included carry strap is also a nice feature. I have a Manduka mat from their pro series and it weighs a ton so I use that one at home and take this one from Yoga Design Lab to the studio.I have the "Mandala Charcoal" color and it's really nice. I like the neutral charcoal color and the unique and visually interesting mandala design.I really appreciate that Yoga Design Lab made this mat free from silicone, PVC, and phthalates. It has no off-gassing smell! I'm happy any time I can avoid VOCs.I've been using this yoga mat specifically for hot yoga and it has been great for this application. It doesn't get slippery when soaked with sweat and wipes clean. It's very functional and I'm really happy with it and highly recommend it!
