Who are the YDL Teammates?

The YDL team is comprised of travel and adventure loving, health-crazed digital nomads scattered around the globe. Our teammates are self-motivated, highly organized, quick learners that LOVE what they do!  You can take your job anywhere with an internet connection- Bali, Cape Town, Buenos Aires- but you must be dedicated to logging on for set hours and rocking your assignments.  We all love a good yoga or surf session, but are passionate about growing the brand.

Graphic Designer – Located in Cape Town, South Africa 

Part-time at 10-15 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Design new marketing pieces, new product development, Mailchimp email generation, website graphics, etc.
  • Advise team on strategies to reach particular audiences
  • Review designs for errors before presentation
  • Bring your own style and talent to the role by taking initiative on new ideas

Requirements:

  • Proven graphic design experience
  • Knowledge of one or more digital design platforms (ie Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop)
  • Self-motivated and self-managed personality
  • Ability to interact, communicate, and effectively present ideas
  • Creative eye for pleasing aesthetics, as shown by your portfolio and past projects
  • Eye for detail
  • Experiences on InDesign  (send examples)

Personal Assistant to C-Suite – Located in Cape Town, South Africa

Part-time 10-15 Hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate upcoming photoshoots
  • Make / oversee travel arrangements
  • Maintain company calendar
  • Receive packages and send shipments
  • Other duties /errands as assigned

 Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Cape Town market
  • Must have a vehicle and valid driver’s license
  • Self-motivated and strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized

 

 

New Business Developer – Located in Cape Town, South Africa

Part-time 10-15 Hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Find distributors in key markets
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Analyze current methods and improve upon them, then provide suggested changes    
  • Help the business effectively expand into international markets
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of how to launch new businesses in foreign markets (especially Asia, so knowledge of how to achieve this would be a plus!)
  • Holds a degree in business
  • Experience in developing a new / growing business and increasing expansion and reach
  • Self-motivated and strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

 

Production Manager – Located in Cape Town, South Africa

Part-time to Full-time starting at 10-20 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and organising production schedules with multiple international factories
  • Assessing, managing and forecasting inventory requirements
  • Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers
  • Determining quality control standards   
  • Overseeing  and coordinating production processes
  • Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary

Requirements:

  • A relevant university degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • Must have experience with production management
  • High organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and self-managed personality, Proficient in Microsoft Office & Google drive

 

Amazon Seller Central Marketing Guru

Part-time 20 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Creating/Managing/Optimizing Product Listings on Amazon.com/.ca/Europe/.jp/ .mx
  • Take over management for Amazon account for the North American, UK, and Australian regions
  • Amazon Adwords and Key Words Optimization
  • Expert in creating Amazon flat file upload templates with many different variations and products
  • Managing and creating Affiliate Links
  • Oversee all Amazon marketing research and strategies
  • Advanced understanding of using Amazon Reports
  • Manage customer reviews via Feedback Genius and Wavereview

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience with Amazon Seller Central on all markets
  • Native English speaker
  • Ability to adapt and learn on the job
  • Submit at least 3 references for amazon sellers that you have supported

 

 

Digital Marketing / Public Relations Manager 

Located in Cape Town, South Africa 

Part-time 10-15 Hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
  • Grow and optimize our social media presence
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience /as well as  agencies and other vendor partners
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

Requirements

  • BS degree in marketing or a related field
  • Solid knowledge of Amazon advertising, keywords, product optimization
  • Working knowledge of retargeting campaigns such as through AdRoll
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Ability to interact, communicate, and effectively present ideas

Korea Sales and Marketing Manager

Part-time 10-15 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Wholesale Program, research and pitch to potential wholesale clients, fulfill orders, and fully track, report, follow up and manage these accounts
  • Support the YDL PR, Social Media, and Branding Managers with marketing

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree in business, marketing, sales, etc as well as prior experience in these fields
  • Native English Speaker
  • Proficiency in Korean
  • Familiarity with the Korea yoga/fitness scene
  • Familiarity with the retail industry of Korea
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of WordPress a plus

 

 

Malaysia Sales and Marketing Manager

Part-time 15-20 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in selecting a Fulfillment Center & manage this account (inventory management, advanced shipment notifications, facilitating customer orders)
  • Assist to manage the WordPress Shop (update for new or sold out stock; maintain pricing/ sale pricing; imagery)
  • Wholesale Program (research and pitch to potential wholesale clients, fulfill orders, fully manage these accounts)
  • Customer Service Management
  • Support the YDL PR, Social Media, and Branding Managers with marketing

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree in business, marketing, sales, etc as well as prior experience in these fields
  • Native Malay/Malaysian Speaker, Advanced English Speaker
  • Familiarity with the Malaysian yoga/fitness scene (focus on UAE and Qatar)
  • Familiarity with the retail industry of Malaysia
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of WordPress a plus

 

 

Regional Sales and Marketing Managers

Part-time to Full-time 20-30 hours per week

As YDL launches into new countries, we need awesome managers to spear head the launch and ongoing market management. Markets we are planning to launch include but are not limited to: Brazil, Russia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Philippines

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in selecting a Fulfillment Center & manage this account (inventory management, advanced shipment notifications, facilitating customer orders)
